How You Can Help

FRIENDS is the only 501(c)(3) non-profit breast cancer organization in the United States focused exclusively on funding research to find a biological earlier detection test for breast cancer. There are many different ways to make donations to nonprofits such as a breast cancer donation. You can help FRIENDS support breast cancer research.

FRIENDS official motor vehicle LICENSE PLATE

Individuals with Motor Vehicles registered in the State of North Carolina should apply for the offiicial FRIENDS FOR AN EARLIER BREAST CANCER TEST(R) LICENSE PLATE.  A minimum of 300 applications must be received before the North Carolina DMV will issue the plate.  You may customize your plate for an additional fee.  $10 from every plate is donated directly to FRIENDS FOR AN EARLIER BREAST CANCER TEST(R).

OTHER PROJECTS AND EVENTS

Host a Bunco Party

You can have fun playing this popular game with all of your friends and help out FRIENDS at the same time! Have a silent auction with items and services donated by players and local merchants. This can be really fun! Other suggestions include:

	Having each player donate an extra $10 (or other amount) to FRIENDS for each person they know with breast cancer
	Double your typical Bunco pot, with the proceeds going to FRIENDS.
	Make every player who hasn't had a mammogram (or doesn't do self exams) put an extra $5 into the pot.

Host a Sporting Event

Another way to help out FRIENDS is to coordinate a charity sporting event, like a golf or tennis tournament. Events like these can be a great way to raise money for FRIENDS.
